A Fun-Filled English Class for Kids in Tokyo!
Are you an expat or international family living in Tokyo? Do you want your children to strengthen their English skills in a fun and engaging environment? Saturday Explorers is here for you! Our unique English class is designed for children of all English levels, making it perfect for those growing up in a bilingual environment.
Class Features
❶ Small Class Sizes
Our small class sizes ensure that each child has plenty of time to speak. Activities are tailored to fit individual personalities and levels of understanding.
❷ Child-Centered Approach
We value children’s opinions and interests. Instead of the teacher making all the decisions, we encourage children to express their ideas and create an environment where they can freely express themselves.
❸ Self-Expression
Beyond just learning English, children will develop skills in voice projection, facial expressions, and conveying emotions and opinions.
❹ Tangible Growth
At the end of each session, we host a speech and role play presentation. Parents are invited to watch and celebrate their child’s progress together.

Speech & Drama
Our speech and drama lessons aim to comprehensively improve children’s communication skills. They practice the basic elements of speech (volume, clarity, and expressiveness) and enhance their creativity through drama and roleplay. By enjoying and understanding storytelling, children expand their vocabulary and develop their ability to express themselves in English. Additionally, performing and giving speeches build their confidence in speaking in front of others and foster teamwork and communication skills.
Speech Fundamentals: Introduce and practice the basic elements of speech, such as volume, clarity, and expression, to improve communication skills.
Dramatic Expression: Encourage imaginative play and creative expression through drama and role-playing activities, helping children explore different characters and scenarios.
Storytelling Skills: Develop storytelling skills by engaging children in creating and sharing their own stories, enhancing their narrative abilities and understanding of story structure.
Language Appreciation: Foster a love for language by exposing children to a variety of literary genres and language forms, including poetry, prose, and plays.
Vocabulary Expansion: Expand children's vocabulary through interactive word games and activities that introduce new words in a fun and memorable way.
Speaking: Build confidence in public speaking by providing opportunities for children to perform and speak in front of their peers in a supportive environment.
